Episode 74: What If the Strongest Christian in the Room Needs Help?
Listen to This Episode
What if the strongest Christian in the room is not the person who needs the least?
Tony flies solo for an honest look at how Christians define strength, dependence, weakness, and calling. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 12, 1 Corinthians 1, Mark 10, 2 Corinthians 4, and Hebrews 4, he asks whether our picture of strength has been shaped more by self-sufficiency than by Christ.
Christ is not asking you to become invulnerable before his grace can meet you.
Tony reflects on his own journey with cerebral palsy, unanswered prayer, and receiving visible help, while making an important distinction: grace never asks us to excuse sin, harm, neglect, or growth we are able to pursue. Christian strength is not passivity. It is dependence on Christ, honest limits, service, courage, and faithfulness.
